What would you have done? The weather wasn't too hot nor was it too windy. Thankfully, there wasn't a single thundercloud in sight either. No classes, no nothing. Now tell me what you would have done on a day like this? For Adelaine Hooper, a day like no other deserved only the best itinerary. She finished adding the final touches to her letter for her parents, while sticking a post it by her dresser to remind her to send it later. She wasn't quite in the mood to head to the owlery, nor was she ready to face the wrath of Carmichael as to why she had taken so long since her last visit.
She, of course didn't forget the single most important object she would be needing for the day. There was a tingly feeling within her as she carried her Cleansweep to the Quidditch pitch. One of those reasons being she hadn't found enough fly time since the last practice session. It didn't help of course that the weather failed to cooperate her urges to go out and just soar freely into the sky. Her slow walk slowly changed in pace when she began to approach her destination, excitement does that quite a lot.
The lot was empty when she had gotten there which she found odd, puzzling even, a day like this, you would expect the field to be completely booked. Still, better an empty stadium than a cramped and crowded one. A few warm up exercises to start and she finally kicked herself from off the ground. The feeling was instantaneously overwhelming and she allowed herself a few somersaults before doing a few drills to herself. Yes, Addy could definitely agree there was no greater feeling other than this.
